Premarital Counseling

Hobart Assembly's pre-marital coaching covers foundational topics such as family planning, finances, conflict resolution, personality traits, different communication styles, the defining of our expectations, and deepest longings. 

Pre-marital coaching is required for all engaged couples who want to be married at Hobart Assembly. If you attend Hobart Assembly as your home church, you can request Pre-Marital Coaching before your marriage. Please contact the church at least six months in advance and also fill out the "Coaching Request" form using the button at the bottom of the page to initiate the process.  We look forward to helping you prepare for the biggest day of your lives!

INTERACTIVE MARRIAGE CLASSES

We meet at Hobart Assembly periodically for interactive marriage classes/discussions and prayer. Currently, we meet on the last Sunday of every month; onsite childcare is provided during these classes. Our group is made up of Christian couples from diverse backgrounds and ages. We hope to foster an atmosphere where we can learn from each other and encourage each other.

At Hobart Assembly, we endeavor to build godly relationships among members. As part of these practical and helpful class offerings, you will learn how to properly care for and minister to one another.  We do this by providing a safe environment for couples to learn how to improve their marriages.

Marital Coaching

All good marriages take effort, and wise couples will invest time and energy into growing their marriages. Hobart Assembly offers many resources to assist in the strengthening of marriages such as free marital coaching and periodic Marriage Conferences with insightful information for couples. All it takes is a willingness on your part to put the time and energy into your marriage.

Recovery from Divorce

No matter what leads to the break-up of a marriage, Hobart Assembly wants to help people recover from the tragedy of divorce. A Divorce Recovery class will be offered periodically for those who need it, and we are always here to guide and support you.

Help for a Troubled Marriage

As we grow and change, so do our marriages. A successful marriage doesn’t happen on its own, but it requires continued work, development, and investment. Sometimes marriages need additional support, and it’s wise to reach out for help. Hobart Assembly provides free coaching for any couple whose marriage is in crisis.
