Giving at Hobart Assembly is Easy
We offer several options that make giving to our church easy, safe, and secure. You may choose to give online, through text messaging on your mobile device, or during one of our services.
Your generosity enables us to help people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus. We are truly grateful for your donation and hope the convenience and simplicity of online giving will be helpful to you.
We practice the Biblical principle of tithing. Tithe means a tenth. When we tithe, we give 10 % of our income to God. God not only calls us to give as an act of obedience but to give generously. Once you are faithfully tithing, we would like you to consider giving above and beyond.
Kingdom Builders
Each year, we set specific goals for global and local missions, community outreach, and campus expansion so that more people can be reached with the Gospel. Kingdom Builders are people who give sacrificially, above and beyond their tithe, to help us expand the Kingdom of God. We do this by partnering with local and global organizations. Some recent projects have included establishing water wells in Africa, building churches in Honduras, and partnering with Feed the Hungry and orphanages around the world to help those who need it most.

Creative Ways Others Are Giving
At Hobart Assembly, we recognize that times are changing, and the methods of managing assets have also changed. If you would like to give to Hobart Assembly by transferring stocks/bonds, crypto-currency, or other QCD (qualified charitable giving), please call the church office or email office@realifechurch.org.

Once you download the Church Center app, you will need to search for Hobart Assembly and you will be ready to go!

GIVE DURING A WEEKEND SERVICE
If you prefer, you can give during one of our in-person services by filling out the envelope located in the pocket of the seat backs and placing it in the offering bucket as it is passed down your row. You can use this envelope to give by cash or check. Please fill out the envelope completely so we can properly record your giving.

Your generosity enables us to help people experience a life-changing relationship with God. When you give to Hobart Assembly, you are investing in the work that God has called us to do as a church. This involves not only reaching new areas and taking the power of the gospel to people around the globe, but also continuously investing in the lives of people who are already connected to Hobart Assembly to help them take their next step in their walk with the Lord.
There are two options for directing your giving:
1) Tithes: Donations made to this fund are used to fund the ongoing ministry and operations of the church.
2) Kingdom Builders: Kingdom Builders' contributions are given above and beyond the tithe. These funds are used to support our global missions, local ministry expansion, church planting, and future Christian leaders.
We believe that all followers of Christ should give generously, as taught by Jesus, to support furthering the mission of the gospel. Those still exploring Christianity and/or Hobart Assembly are welcome, but not expected to contribute financially.
The first step in giving is to make your first gift—no matter how large or small—with a cheerful and grateful heart! (2 Corinthians 9:7) The next step is to grow in generosity; challenge yourself to prioritize what you give to the Lord and listen to the Spirit’s prompts to become more generous. Like all aspects of our faith, God is always helping us grow along the way.
The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe (Malachi 3:8-10). In the New Testament, Jesus affirmed the principle of tithing (Matthew 23:23), which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.
Hobart Assembly utilizes Planning Center and Breeze giving. It is quick, easy, and goes with you wherever you go. Digital giving through Planning Center is a great way to give because it simplifies the giving process and allows you to make any future contributions in just a few seconds once you create an account. Those who prefer to schedule recurring gifts can do that quickly and easily with Planning Center, either through the Church Center app or the online giving portal.
Many have found that setting up a repeating gift is a great way to put God first in their finances. You can schedule your donation to process weekly, bi-weekly, on a certain day of the month, or whatever is convenient for you.
You can edit your information when giving online or on the Church Center app on your mobile device. There you can edit your profile, payment methods, view your gift history and edit any recurring gifts you have set up.
Gifts by cash, check and bank account (ACH) have the lowest transaction cost, meaning more of your money is invested in Kingdom work. When you give using these methods, you ensure that your gift is not being reduced by needless fees.
By shopping on Amazon’s charity-focused website, smile.amazon.com, 0.5% of your purchases support Hobart Assembly. Simply select Hobart Assembly of God (Hobart, IN) as the charity you wish to support, and remember to start at smile.amazon.com for all of your purchases.
You are able to see all of your online giving through the Church Center app or by logging into your giving account.
In the Church Center App, click "give" at the bottom. Then select "My Giving" and then "Donation History." Once you do this, you should be able to see your giving history. Occasionally, we have had people set up multiple giving accounts by accident. If this happens to you and you are unable to see all your giving data, please contact the church office and we will merge your accounts to help you better manage your giving.
Once year-end giving statements are issued, you will be able to download and access those statements in the app as well.
Cash & check contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31 to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by December 31.
